Aave is gauging community interest in deploying Spiderchain on Bitcoin L2

Odaily News Lending protocol Aave is seeking community input to understand the level of interest in deploying Spiderchain on the Bitcoin L2 network. The Aave-Chain Initiative (ACI), the driving force behind the protocol, has published a draft for comments on a proposal from Spiderchain developer Botanix Labs, which aims to scale lenders and lock more than $17 billion in total value in the emerging Bitcoin DeFi environment. Once feedback is collected, the protocol will need to identify and mitigate potential security risks. ACI has not yet provided an expected timeline for this process. (CoinDesk)
