Odaily News The Taipei Blockchain Week 2024 (TBW 2024) hackathon supported by the Solana Foundation will be held online from November 11 to December 4, 2024. This hackathon is open to developers, innovators, and Web3 enthusiasts around the world. There are five competition tracks, focusing on key areas in the Solana ecosystem, each sponsored by well-known projects: 1. Infrastructure - Sponsored by Zeus Network to enhance the Solana blockchain ecosystem by building basic tools and infrastructure; 2. Consumer Applications - Sponsored by BONK to design engaging, community-driven applications that leverage viral crypto culture; 3. Decentralized Finance (DeFi) - Sponsored by Raydium to create decentralized financial applications that make financial services more open and convenient; 4. Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network (DePIN) - Sponsored by SOON to innovate in decentralized infrastructure and explore new community-driven network models; 5. Games - Sponsored by Genopets to develop immersive blockchain games and interactive digital experiences. Participants will compete for a $25,000 prize pool, with a $3,000 gold prize and two $1,000 silver prizes (distributed in USDC tokens of equivalent value) for each track. In addition, Zeus Network and Gen3 will offer exclusive additional rewards to participants who meet certain participation criteria.
