StarkWare CEO: OP_CAT is expected to be launched within 12 months, which can introduce ZK-rollup and other functions to Bitcoin

Odaily News StarkWare CEO Eli Ben Sasson said he expects OP_CAT, a major upgrade to the Bitcoin network, to go live within the next 12 months. In an interview at Devcon 2024 in Thailand, Ben-Sasson said that the launch of OP_CAT will bring a range of new features to Bitcoin, including "covenants, ZK-rollup, and L2 networks."
