Mysten Labs Co-creation: Sui Mainnet is planned to run on SCION before the end of the year

Odaily News Mysten Labs co-founder Adeniyi Abiodun published an article introducing the SCION architecture and said that the Sui mainnet is scheduled to run on SCION by the end of the year. Earlier in October, Sui had become the first L1 project to run SCION (currently in the testnet). SCION is a powerful alternative to routing and forwarding protocols in today's Internet, which improves the security and resilience of Sui. SCION protects Sui validators from many attacks that may occur on today's Internet, such as rerouting and DDoS attacks, which have caused serious downtime in other networks. It enables validators to maintain consensus during attacks, increase epoch rewards, and enable full nodes to benefit from better state synchronization, avoiding bottlenecks and retry delays.
