US media predicts Republicans will control the US Senate

Odaily News Bernie Moreno, a former car dealer and far-right Republican, defeated three-term Ohio Democratic Senator Sherrod Brown, giving the GOP enough seats to control the U.S. Senate unless the Democrats unexpectedly win in another contest. Moreno, a well-funded political novice who had been trailing in public and private polls, was a stunning surprise in and of itself.
