Sotheby’s Vice President: BAN tokens were deployed by me, never earned $1 million, and destroyed 3.7% of tokens

Odaily News Michael Bouhanna, Vice President of Sotheby’s, posted on X platform: “9 days ago, I launched a token called BAN on the Pump.Fun platform. This is a spontaneous project and a personal hobby, which has nothing to do with my position at Sotheby’s. I didn’t expect it to get so much attention. Its rapid growth was unexpected and was driven entirely by the community without any intervention from me.” Bouhanna further stated: “A recent post said that I made $1 million. This is not true. The related wallet does not belong to me. I destroyed 3.7% of the token supply in the dev wallet (9 days ago).”
