The situation has been fully resolved and customer funds have been restored. M2 assumes full responsibility for any potential losses, and all services are now fully operational with additional controls in place. M2 added that it is committed to maintaining security and compliance standards and actively working with relevant legal and regulatory agencies to ensure that the matter is handled thoroughly and appropriately. Earlier on November 1, according to the on-chain detective ZachXBT's disclosure on his personal channel, the cryptocurrency trading platform M2 was hacked the day before, and the attacker stole approximately US$13 million from multiple on-chain hot wallets.
