Across Co-Creation initiated a proposal to permanently fix the total supply of ACX at 1 billion

Odaily News Across co-founder Hart Lambur initiated a proposal on Snapshot, seeking community approval to fix the total supply of ACX tokens at 1 billion. Hart said that LayerZero founder Bryan Pellegrino recently criticized Across's token design, saying that ACX's ERC20 token contract is vulnerable to unauthorized token minting. The Across team disagrees with his accusations. But in the spirit of decentralization and transparency, we propose a change to permanently fix the supply of ACX tokens at 1 billion. This change does not require any modifications to the ACX contract, only the relinquishment of Across Governance's ownership of the ACX token contract, thereby preventing any party from changing the token supply through minting or burning in the future.
