The Tapioca Foundation plans to offer the attacker a $1 million bounty in exchange for returning the remaining $3.7 million.

Odaily News The Tapioca Foundation proposed a settlement agreement to the attacker through an on-chain message yesterday, agreeing to provide him with a $1 million USDT bounty without any additional conditions. It added that this amount of money is significantly higher than the general bounty ratio (i.e. 10% of the stolen funds) in exchange for the attacker returning the remaining $3.7 million in funds, and called on the attacker to contact the official by email before 4 pm (UTC time) on October 22, 2024. Earlier news, TapiocaDAO was attacked on October 18, resulting in the theft of $4.7 million in cryptocurrency. The Tapioca Foundation described the incident as a "social engineering attack."
