Odaily News Binance compliance director Tigran Gambaryan was unable to appear in court due to serious illness, delaying the trial in a Nigerian court for months. Tigran Gambaryan's lawyer Mark Mordi requested a recess to check on his client's health. The judge agreed and postponed the trial to October 25. Gambaryan was charged in a long-standing dispute between the Nigerian government and Binance, but Gambaryan and Binance denied the allegations. Gambaryan has been detained in Nigeria since February, and a Nigerian court last week rejected Binance executive Tigran Gambaryan's request for bail due to illness. (DL News)
