Odaily News South Korean lawmaker Min Byoung-dug plans to criticize AVAIL as the second "hamburger coin" to raise questions in a congressional audit. Note: Hamburger coins are virtual assets issued overseas and traded in South Korea, while the local ones are kimchi coins. The lawmaker has requested abnormal trading data on AVAIL on Bithumb and is investigating its surge in listing, potential price manipulation, and the effectiveness of the exchange's customer protection measures. The Financial Supervisory Service, which is investigating the incident, declined to comment, saying: "Mentioning specific tokens or progress of the investigation may affect market prices, so the principle is that the case is fully handled and disclosed."
