Odaily News Zhou Zilie, director of the Hong Kong New Directions Innovation and Technology Policy Research, published an article saying that the International Institute for Management Development in Lausanne, Switzerland, recently released the "2024 World Talent Rankings", and Hong Kong's ranking jumped to ninth place. In the current diversified talent introduction plan, the Hong Kong government can continue to strengthen the promotion and coverage of the "Technology Talent Admission Scheme" and moderately consider expanding the scope of the benefiting industries to cover more emerging technology fields, such as quantum computing, blockchain and green technology.
