Mempool responds to FUD: mempool.space only displays data on Bitcoin memory pool, blockchain and lightning network

Odaily News Mempool has clarified some recent FUD in a post on X: "Mempool open source project does not support 'ord' daemon integration, mempool.space only displays data contained in the Bitcoin memory pool and blockchain and lightning network. This means that if a user looks for a transaction containing Ordinals, inscriptions or runes, this data will be visible in mempool.space, just like it exists on the Bitcoin blockchain. We only support Bitcoin, not Shitcoin, but if it is on the memory pool or blockchain, it will be visible in mempool.space. Because displaying the blockchain (data) is actually what the Bitcoin browser does."
