Snapshot X is officially released, enabling zero-gas-fee on-chain voting through Starknet’s Rollup technology

Odaily News The DAO governance platform Snapshot X has officially launched. The platform introduces a new Layer 2-based protocol, and through Starknet's rollup technology, it realizes the DAO's zero-gas-fee on-chain voting function. Jeremy Musighi, COO of Snapshot Labs, called it a turning point in on-chain governance, enabling the DAO to provide free on-chain voting to the community for the first time and increase decision-making participation. Snapshot X uses STARK expansion technology and storage proof to achieve cross-chain secure voting without transferring tokens or paying gas fees. The system also uses the transaction relay Mana to allow users to sign votes using Ethereum wallets and then relay the votes to the Starknet network. (The Block)
