Odaily News Celestia is developing its roadmap to scale to 1GB blocks, aiming to significantly increase data throughput and reduce transaction fees for rollups. Celestia's first upgrade, called Lemongrass, is currently in development. The roadmap to 1GB blocks will involve multiple technical upgrades, including content-addressed memory pools, node sharding, and an enhanced availability sampling protocol. In addition to scaling, Celestia also aims to ensure that its blockspace can be verified by anyone on any device, through light nodes that can be run in a web browser.
