Odaily News A Nigerian court has delayed ruling on the bail application of Binance Financial Crime Compliance Chief Tigran Gambaryan, who has been held in the country for more than six months and has been detained by U.S. lawmakers for what they say is unjust. The court in the Nigerian capital of Abuja heard several hours of arguments on Wednesday before the presiding judge said a verdict would be made at a later date, but did not say when. Gambaryan's lawyer, Mark Mordi, told the court that the defendant had required surgery since July 18 and needed urgent medical assistance that the Nigerian criminal justice system could not provide. State prosecutor Ekele Iheanacho argued that the Binance executive received adequate treatment both at the prison hospital and at another facility in Abuja used by senior government officials.
