India's finance minister says no plans to regulate sale and purchase of cryptocurrencies

Odaily News Indian Finance Minister Pankaj Chaudhary said that India has not conducted any studies or surveys to understand the level of cryptocurrency adoption among its citizens, saying: "Crypto assets or virtual digital assets (VDA) are not regulated in India and India does not collect data on these assets."
