Polygon will start the MATIC to POL migration plan on September 4

Odaily News The Polygon Foundation announced on X that it will start the MATIC to POL migration plan on September 4. POL will replace MATIC as the native gas and staking token of Polygon PoS, and POL will play a key role in the AggLayer in the subsequent stages.
