Odaily News Bitcoin News previously disclosed a document on the X platform showing that the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority intends to abolish non-custodial Bitcoin wallets in order to strengthen supervision of crypto platform activities. They stressed the need to regulate "interface providers" and mobile application developers to comply with MiCA regulations. However, the Danish regulator did not propose a ban on self-custodial cryptocurrency wallets. It is reported that the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority (DFSA) denied false reports that the regulator plans to ban self-custodial wallets (also known as non-custodial wallets). The agency will make regulatory clarifications after evaluating the decentralization of the regulatory environment in the context of the Crypto Asset Market (MiCA) regulation, which will take full effect on June 30.
