Odaily News Holograph posted on the X platform that the Holograph protocol suffered an illegal attack on June 13, and malicious attackers increased the total supply of HLG. The attacker transferred 1 billion HLG to various CEXs and began to sell them. After notifying the exchanges of the situation, about 200 million HLG were successfully frozen and are currently being recovered through law enforcement procedures. The remaining amount of HLG in circulation is currently about 800 million. After extensive discussions with the community, the plan to restore the total supply of HLG to 10 billion has been launched. The first batch of 53,249,975 HLGs have been destroyed, and the remaining 946,750,025 HLGs are yet to be destroyed.
