Odaily News Web3 Finance Club and Request Finance have collaborated to share a survey report of 900 people in the Web3 industry. The report shows that the income of people in the Web3 industry is significantly higher than that of their counterparts in the traditional financial industry, with an average increase of 27%, and some positions (such as accountants) have an income that is 128% higher; 92% of the respondents work remotely, far exceeding the global average; there is still a gender pay gap in the Web3 industry, with women earning 46% less on average than men; nearly half of the people in the web3 industry receive part or all of their remuneration in cryptocurrency, of which 41.7% of the respondents are paid at least partially in cryptocurrency such as stablecoins or company tokens; nearly half of the respondents said there was no variable pay, while the other half adopted a variable pay model, with bonuses up to 50% or more of the base salary; up to 63% of people in the Web3 industry receive equity as part of their pay.
