CertiK: Affected by the loss of Japanese DMM Bitcoin, May recorded the largest monthly loss in 2024

Odaily News CertiK Alert data shows that May recorded the largest monthly loss in 2024 due to the theft of $305 million worth of Bitcoin from Japanese crypto exchange DMM Bitcoin. The DMM Bitcoin loss event was the sixth largest event recorded in the past 3 years, and the losses have reached about $821 million since the beginning of the year.
