New Vanguard CEO insists on not launching a Bitcoin ETF

Odaily News Salim Ramji, who will take over as Vanguard CEO from Tim Buckley on July 8, said Vanguard will not launch its own spot bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF). He believes that the company should be consistent in its stance and product offerings. Ramji did not comment on the company's decision not to provide trading access to customers. Prior to this, he was in charge of the global iShares business at BlackRock, where he promoted the company's decision to launch a bitcoin ETF and left in January this year.
