Odaily News Research and brokerage firm Bernstein said in a research note on Monday that the decline in Bitcoin mining difficulty of about 6% last week was a positive development for some miners, as Bitcoin mining companies Riot Platforms (RIOT) and CleanSpark (CLSK) are known to have the lowest production costs and strong balance sheets and cash positions. The brokerage does not expect Bitcoin prices to fall sharply, and expects the cryptocurrency to remain range-bound and break out upward after spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) receive allocations from registered investment advisors (RIAs), wealth platforms and other institutional funds.
