Although market forces and competition are imperfect, they can force companies to provide high-quality, reasonably priced goods and services, otherwise they will be replaced by companies that can do so. Even imperfect market forces are a thousand times better than projects that are nominally decentralized or simply cannot work and will never be implemented.
