SBF accepted the first media interview since August last year: insisted that he was innocent and traded bags of rice in prison

Odaily Planet Daily News: SBF spoke face-to-face with the media for the first time since being detained in the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in August 2023. SBF was locked in a large open dormitory with 35 other male prisoners (half of whom were reportedly murderers who cooperated with the government), and he was reportedly very tired of having only four TVs and an entertainment tablet without Internet access, on which he played games. SBF insisted that he was innocent and believed that he was a "scapegoat", and while he planned to appeal, he began to trade commodities, namely bags of rice. (Cointelegraph)
