Odaily News Ramon, the head of product delivery at Matter Labs, posted on the X platform that zkSync will be upgraded on May 13. The upgrade mainly includes 4 items: 1. P256Verify: This precompilation allows signature verification of the secp256r1 elliptic curve, and also adds ecAdd, ecMul and ecPairing precompilations; 2. Bridgehub: Unlocks the basic components of all ZK Stack chain interoperability, aiming to make cross-chain transactions seamless; 3. On the ZK Stack side, protocol work to support Validium, custom DA layers, and custom base tokens has also been completed, and with some upcoming server changes, these changes will be available for the ZK Stack chain; 4. Support .transfer/.send calls without providing Gas, which can unlock some ETH stuck in contracts that are deployed without following best code practices.
