Cryptocurrency market financing totaled $1.02 billion in April

Odaily News RootData data shows that the total financing of the crypto market in April reached US$1.02 billion, involving 161 financings, a slight decrease from 186 financings and a total investment of US$1.09 billion in March. This is the first time since October-November 2022 that the industry's VC investment has exceeded US$1 billion for two consecutive months. The most notable financings in April included asset tokenization company Securitize's US$47 million, led by BlackRock; and Layer1 blockchain Monad, backed by Paradigm and Coinbase Ventures, raised US$225 million. In addition, blockchain infrastructure startup Auradine and the team behind the Cosmos-based Layer1 blockchain Berachain raised US$80 million and US$100 million, respectively. (Cointelegraph)
