Faraway acquires Yuga Labs' HV-MTL and Legends of the Mara games

Odaily News Game studio Faraway announced that it will acquire Yuga Labs' game IPs "HV-MTL" and "Legends of the Mara" as part of Faraway's strategy to build an interoperable game ecosystem. Faraway will introduce new point systems and more integrations in these two games to further enhance the IP. New "HV-MTL Points" and "LoTM Points" will be added to the NFT metadata and support cross-game interactions within the Faraway network. For Legends of the Mara Points, all Koda and Kodamara will receive a new metadata field "LoTM Points"; the Otherside Koda series will remain under the Yuga brand, but Koda will still receive points. In addition, Faraway announced the appointment of Web3 game veteran Spencer Tucker as Chief Product Officer.
