OpenAI opens first Asian office in Tokyo

Odaily News OpenAI announced the establishment of its first office in Asia in Tokyo, Japan, expanding its business to Asia and releasing a customized GPT-4 model optimized for Japanese. OpenAI said it will work with the Japanese government, local companies and research institutions to develop safe artificial intelligence tools that meet Japan's unique needs and create new opportunities. Tadao Nagasaki will serve as president of OpenAI Japan.
