Conflux launches Bitcoin Layer 2, will be compatible with EVM and use BTC as gas token

Odaily News Conflux officially announced the launch of a Bitcoin Layer 2 solution that is compatible with EVM. At that time, Conflux can manage BTC and Bitcoin-based assets such as BRC20 and ARC20 through smart contracts. The network’s testnet is expected to go online in February or March 2024, with the mainnet scheduled to launch in May.
