Odaily News Bitwise announced that it will donate 10% of the profits of its Bitcoin Spot ETF (BITB) to support Bitcoin open source development. Donated organizations include Brink, OpenSats, and Human Rights Foundation. Bitwise said the donations come with no strings attached and will be made annually for at least the next ten years. Previously, it was reported on January 6 that VanEck would donate 5% of the profits of the Bitcoin Spot ETF to Bitcoin developers. “We are not Bitcoin tourists, we will invest in it for the long term. We initially donated US$10,000 and signed a A commitment. If the spot ETF is approved, 5% of profits will be donated to Brink, the Bitcoin Core developer organization, for at least 10 years.”
