Odaily News Index Investment Protocol AMKT announced the launch of the V2 version to complete the migration to the blockchain. V1 relies on the encapsulated asset model of Coinbase as custodian, while V2 transfers custody entirely on-chain. According to previous news, the crypto index platform Alongside completed a US$11 million seed round of financing, led by a16z, with participation from Coinbase Ventures, Franklin Templeton Investments, Village Global and Not Boring Capital, as well as several angel investors. In January this year, Alongside launched its first product, Alongside Crypto Market Index (AMKT), allowing people to gain broad exposure to the entire crypto asset market through a single Token.
