OpenSea will implement optional royalties for new series works starting from August 31st.

Odaily News: OpenSea has announced that starting from August 31st, it will implement an optional royalty mechanism for new series of artworks, eliminating OpenSea's mandatory creator royalty mechanism (Operator Filter). For existing series that have implemented the Operator Filter before August 31st, OpenSea will enforce the designated creator royalties on OpenSea until February 29th, 2024. After this date, creator royalties will become optional.
