Bitwise has applied to update its Bitcoin futures ETF to a "Bitcoin + Ethereum Equal Weight Strategy ETF".

Odaily News: Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart tweeted that Bitwise has submitted an updated application to change its BITC from a Bitcoin futures ETF to "Bitwise Bitcoin and Ether Equal Weight Strategy ETF." The effective date is October 9, 2023.
In previous news, Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas tweeted that Valkyrie has submitted a filing to convert Valkyrie Bitcoin Strategy ETF (BTF) into a "Bitcoin and Ethereum Futures ETF" on October 3, which is two weeks ahead of the planned release date of the other 13 ETF applications.
