The seasonally adjusted non-farm employment in the United States increased by 187,000 people in July, below the expected 200,000 people, marking the smallest growth since December 2020.

Odaily News: The seasonally adjusted non-farm employment in the United States increased by 187,000 in July, with a previous value of 209,000 and an expected value of 200,000. The unemployment rate in July was 3.5%, with a previous value of 3.60% and an expected value of 3.60%. The US Dollar Index (DXY) fell 30 points in the short term and is now reported at 102.34.



The US Bureau of Labor Statistics stated that the number of new non-farm jobs added in May was revised down from 306,000 to 281,000; and the number of new non-farm jobs added in June was revised down from 209,000 to 185,000. After the revision, the total number of new jobs added in May and June was 49,000 lower than the previous revision. (Jinshi)
