Odaily News: BNB Chain announced the release of mainnet v1.2.9. This version introduces the Plato and Hertz (Berlin, London) hard forks, both of which have undergone comprehensive testing on the testnet and are ready for deployment on the mainnet.
The Plato hard fork is expected to be deployed on August 10th (block height 30,720,096), while the Hertz hard fork is scheduled for deployment on August 30th (block height 31,302,048). BNB Chain has stated that all validators and full node operators on the mainnet must switch their software version to v1.2.9 before August 10th.
