Odaily News: Entrepreneur Joel Dietz sues ConsenSys for stealing his idea about a browser plugin wallet.
Joel Dietz claims that he started the Vapor project at the end of 2014 and hired Aaron Davis to help write the Vapor code. However, Aaron Davis later betrayed him and conspired with ConsenSys to steal the idea of a browser plugin wallet.
A spokesperson for ConsenSys said, "To our knowledge, Joel Dietz has been falsely claiming to be the founder of MetaMask, attempting to sell tokens or obtain investment from unaware investors worldwide. Joel Dietz is not the founder of MetaMask and has no affiliation with MetaMask or any of its technologies. We look forward to the court promptly addressing these baseless lawsuits. MetaMask was founded by Aaron Davis and Dan Finlay in 2016." (CoinDesk)
