In an example this week, a meme coin project called TOWELIE was accused of being a Rug Pull scam. Someone placed a bounty of 580 ARKM (approximately $324) on the Arkham platform to identify the supporters of this project.
TOWELIE has been very low-key and does not have official social media accounts on platforms like Twitter and Discord. Someone sent a message to the project's address through Blockscan Chat, asking if they were conducting a "Rug Pull," but did not receive an immediate reply.
Other bounties include identifying the individuals or entities who stole approximately $415 million worth of cryptocurrencies from the FTX exchange during the crash, and finding the owner of the address that attacked Wintermute, causing approximately $160 million in losses. (CoinDesk)
