Odaily News: Exchange.art, a digital art marketplace based on Solana, is set to become a multi-chain platform and integrate support for Ethereum. Exchange.art will launch its own gas-optimized ETH contract, allowing creators to mint artworks on the Ethereum blockchain. Creators will also be able to import existing smart contracts.
This integration will go live on August 1st, with over 80 Ethereum artists joining the platform, including Sotheby's "Glitch Art" auction artist Patrick Amadon and creator Amber Vittoria.
Larisa Barbu, COO of Exchange.art, has stated that since its launch in 2021, the marketplace has planned to expand beyond the Solana ecosystem and aims to bring in new creators and collectors.
According to previous reports, in September 2022, Solana-based digital art marketplace Exchange Art announced the completion of a $3.2 million seed funding round, with participation from bigbrainvc, cultur3capital, LayerOneVC, HGESOL, degenHFP, baalazamon, CozomoMedici, DontsellyourSOL, and others.
