Web3 startup Airchains is partnering with government institutions in the Indian state of West Bengal to use blockchain for land ownership changes and tracking.
2023-07-05 01:38
Odaily News: Web3 middleware SaaS startup Airchains has partnered with the New Town Kolkata Development Authority (NKDA) in West Bengal, India, to help them record and track land ownership changes digitally using blockchain.

Airchains will launch 500,000 NFTs deployed on the Polygon Supernets, which will serve as proof of land ownership for all properties under NKDA's jurisdiction, as well as track relevant ownership information.

Airchains, founded in 2022, allows users to deploy, build, and scale their own blockchains. The company provides tools to support running their own networks, building dApps and NFTs, enabling developers, businesses, and institutions to enhance network security and performance, integrate tools and APIs, and perform smart contract audits. The startup will soon release a next-generation cryptographic solution using zero-knowledge modular rollups to achieve high scalability and flexibility. (Forbes India)
