From August 9th, nd4.eth, at different time periods, sent batches of various blue-chip NFTs such as CryptoPunk and BAYC, as well as GMX and GNS tokens worth millions of dollars, to a black hole address, totaling about $8.26 million. Nd4.eth seems to be a proponent of nihilism, with the nickname "Nothingless 321" on Opensea, implying that they have detached themselves from the desire for material wealth, which might explain their motivation for destruction. At the same time, in their Opensea profile, they wrote "Just be a light to yourself," which is derived from Indian philosopher Jiddu Krishnamurti. The original quote also includes the phrase "In this totally dark world, you must be your own light," seemingly implying that nd4.eth has lost interest and hope in the world.
And the huge change that led to nd4.eth was the Terra (LUNA) meltdown in 2022. nd4.eth used to be a master of contracts and has always been a frequent visitor to the Binance contract rankings, accumulating $2 billion by May 2022. Twitter user "/b/" claimed that nd4.eth accumulated a considerable amount of wealth by going long on GMT and then shorting BTC.
