Samsung Electronics to Manufacture NVHBM Base Dies Using TSMC's 3nm Process at NVIDIA's Request

According to Odaily, Citrini analyst jukan posted on X platform that, citing Korean media reports, Samsung Electronics has decided to manufacture NVHBM base dies using TSMC's 3nm process at NVIDIA's request. Samsung Electronics has not entirely ruled out using its own foundry lines and is currently validating the feasibility of producing base dies in-house in the event that NVHBM demand exceeds TSMC's capacity.
