Bitcoin's best trading days are difficult to predict; excluding the top 15 best trading days over the past three years turns cumulative returns into an 11% loss
Odaily report: Zach Pandl posted on X platform stating that Bitcoin's cumulative return over the past three years is approximately 225%, while the Nasdaq's return over the same period is about 109%, but BTC's gains are highly concentrated in a small number of trading days. If the best 5, 10, and 15 trading days over the past three years are excluded, BTC's cumulative return would drop to 95%, 27%, and an 11% loss, respectively; in contrast, the Nasdaq's cumulative return after excluding the best 15 trading days would still be 21%. Pandl pointed out that over the past three years, less than 0.5% of trading days contributed gains large enough to reduce BTC's cumulative return by more than half, and BTC's best trading days cannot be reliably predicted.
