运营数字资产TF至2028年,韩国金融委员会为数字资产基本法落地做准备

2026-09-02 05:54

The Financial Services Commission of South Korea announced that it will operate a digital asset TF until 2028 to prepare for the enactment and implementation of the Framework Act on Digital Assets, including advancing preparations for subordinate legislation and building the foundational infrastructure for the digital asset ecosystem.

The Financial Services Commission stated that the existing digital asset regulatory framework has primarily focused on cracking down on illegal activities and preventing investor losses, while institutional development at the industrial and market levels—such as business conduct, disclosure, and the issuance and circulation of assets—remains insufficient. The Commission plans to finalize the core contents of the Framework Act on Digital Assets by 2026 through consultations with the Virtual Asset Committee and deliberations between political parties and the government, while promoting the establishment of a more comprehensive integrated regulatory system.

South Korea is advancing ecosystem development related to digital assets, with plans to improve infrastructure centered on organizations such as associations. The legislation for the institutionalization of security tokens (ST) passed parliamentary review in January 2026 and is expected to take effect in February 2027. The Financial Services Commission will continue to refine related subordinate regulations and supporting systems.
