韩国股市进入技术性牛市,存储芯片股自6月以来首次开始跑赢整体科技板块
The Odaily Planet Daily reports that the South Korean stock market surged on Thursday, with the KOSPI index rising over 4% in early trading and rebounding approximately 23% from the low on July 30, entering a technical bull market. Heavyweight stocks Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix led the gains, rising over 4% and 7%, respectively. As the latest earnings reports from global tech giants show that AI capital expenditure remains at elevated levels, market risk appetite for tech hardware and memory chip stocks has picked up.
Mark Newton, head of technical strategy at Fundstrat Global Advisors, stated that memory chip stocks have begun to outperform the overall technology sector for the first time since June, and the simultaneous rebound in South Korean stocks and memory chip stocks is driving capital flows back into the technology sector. However, he also noted that if US Treasury yields and the dollar resume their upward trend, this rally could lose momentum later this month. (CNBC)
