"100,000 USD for Early Access to Trump Posts" Service Already Has Over 10 Clients

Odaily Planet Daily News: Trump Media & Technology Group (DJT) released its earnings report on Monday, showing that its Truth API service, which provides traders with rapid access to popular accounts' posts on "Truth Social," has already signed "more than 10" clients and begun generating revenue. This service allows users to access information from top "Truth Social" accounts, including President Trump's account, at a faster pace. U.S. government watchdog agencies and congressional Democrats have previously criticized the service, arguing that the company is selling investors access to potentially market-moving information. Trump Media & Technology Group reported second-quarter revenue of $1.7 million and a net loss of $238 million; however, since Truth API launched on August 1st, the quarter's results did not include revenue from this business. Earlier reports indicated that the subscription fee for Truth API is $100,000 per month, which could be reduced to $60,000 per month under a multi-year contract. Following the release of its second-quarter earnings, Trump Media's stock fell 0.7% in after-hours trading. (Jin Shi)
