In the forex market, the offshore Chinese yuan (USD/CNH) fell 0.13% intraday, with the current exchange rate at 6.76373. The US dollar against the Japanese yen (USD/JPY) rose 0.04% intraday, with the current exchange rate at 159.275.

For global stock indices, the Euro Stoxx 50 (EUSTX50) was flat intraday, reporting 6,065.24 points; the UK FTSE 100 Index (UK100) rose 0.35% intraday, reporting 10,441.4 points; the German DAX 40 Index (GER40) fell 0.05% intraday, reporting 25,076.3 points.
