Odaily Planet Daily News: Court documents show that the Silicon Valley law firm Fenwick & West, which served as the primary external legal counsel for the FTX US exchange before its collapse in 2022, has agreed to pay $54 million to settle allegations that it assisted Sam Bankman-Fried in committing fraud. This settlement is part of the second batch of FTX settlements, which also include $11.75 million paid by auditing firm Prager Metis and $420,000 paid by former NBA player Udonis Haslem. The total settlement amount for the second batch of FTX class actions is approximately $66.17 million.
