TON bridge-v3 cross-chain bridge will be permanently closed on September 1, users need to complete asset recovery in advance

Odaily Planet Daily News Toncoin officially announced that its cross-chain bridge and Token Bridge (bridge-v3.ton.org) will be permanently closed on September 1, 2026. During the transition period before the closure, all proportional cross-chain fees have been waived. The official reminds users who have used the bridge to check their wallets as soon as possible and withdraw any unprocessed or unrecovered assets before the deadline. After September 1, 2026, the cross-chain bridge will cease all transfer functions.

If users hold Wrapped TON on Ethereum or BNB Smart Chain, they should bridge it back to the TON network via bridge-v3.ton.org before the deadline; if they hold j-tokens such as jUSDT, jUSDC, jDAI, jWBTC, they need to bridge them back to the Ethereum network.

All currently submitted transfers have been processed. For transfers that have been executed but not yet claimed, the on-chain fees have been covered and settled by the system. Starting from June 2026, the bridge oracles will exit staking but will continue to operate until the final closure. Users must complete all asset migration before the deadline to avoid assets becoming inaccessible for cross-chain operations.
